Please, I don't want to forget these precious moments

Layton is growing so fast. Where did 9 months go? Garrett has even started saying. "Layton you're getting so big, I don't want you to grow up." Hear, hear! So here are the precious moments I want to ensure I never forget....

The way his cute little body curls around mine as he nurses.
His first word, "da da"
His little wiggle wiggle dance whenever we say "da da" He associates Scott with a wiggle I guess. You've got to Move it Move it, Dad!
How he rolls over onto his side and grabs his fuzzy blanket when he is going to sleep

His little scrunchie nose smile

More, more, more Cheerios!

Scooting along on his belly, all the way down the hall to the toilet

Saving him from Sunny (the Cat) after he grabs her tail

His hot little body snuggled against mine when he is sick

Happy splashes in the tub. Finally! It took about 6 months for him to be ok with the bath

Calling for MA MA MA and when I appear his happy excited face as he inches toward me on his belly

Today, just today, he told me he wanted to go to bed. I picked him up and he started waving bye bye (what we do when we tell him Night, Night) I thought he just had things confused but I took him in anyway and laid him down. Lo and behold he went to sleep immediately! I think we have a genius on our hands =)

"What big eyes" I think I hear that 5 times a day! Or when I took him to Aubrey's classroom "how come the baby never blinks?"

A single tooth that finally poked through after 9 months of teething!

Brother's and a sister that are so concerned about everything that goes into his mouth and

aware of their toys on the floor.

So happy and content all the time.

Such a trooper, he has been my on the go baby with rarely a complaint

Clapping his hands for more Cheerios

His hair that is growing into the perfect faux-hawk

Early Riser, UUGH!

My baby. My Joy. My Layton!
