Downtown Spokane at Christmas Time

Traditions are what make Christmas incredible! I love the wonderful traditions we all can share that bring joy and togetherness during the holiday. We love to visit downtown with all the sites and sounds. The horse-drawn carriage rides, the Davenport with it's Christmas tree or gingerbread decorating contests, the HUGE Christmas tree in the mall and of course, shopping for each other at the Santa's Express: a great way for the kids to shop and wrap their presents for all the people on their lists for an inexpensive price. I LOVE CHRISTMAS!!

Tradition!

One of our Christmas Traditions is to visit the South Hill Nativity Display. Nativities from all around the world and lots of fun for the kids.

Garrett and Aubrey participated in their first recital. Aubrey sang Santa Clause is coming to town and Garrett played a Christmas Carol. They were nervous but did AWESOME.

More sickies

The stomach flu saga continues. I think this is where it started actually. We had plans to go to Disney on Ice but the night we were to leave Dalyn threw up. Scott stayed home with him, and good thing he did because I called at the show's intermission and Scott was in the throes of throw up! Ah, tis the season. We documented our DQ trip and ice show to show Dalyn when we got home.

Catching Up!

Since I haven't blogged since Halloween of last year, I figured I better get going.

So, first off our Lovely Thanksgiving. I as sure the entire household was so grateful we came for Thanksgiving since we brought a wonderful stomach flu bug as our special guest. Aubrey got sick on the car ride down to Wenatchee and then one by one everyone started dropping like sick flies. We were all trying really hard to keep pregnant Julie from getting the bug but nothing worked! Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! Now we can all appreicate how great it feels to not be sick!
